Industry affiliates and partners should follow these standards and any additional guidelines shared for the affiliate program.
Age Requirement
You must be of legal age to browse, register, or participate on this forum. Users under 18 are not permitted — no exceptions.
By creating an account or using the forum, you confirm that you are at least 18. If staff learn that a member is under 18, the account will be removed.
General Conduct
No harassment, discrimination, or abuse.
That includes insults, baiting, and dismissive labels used to shut people down instead of engaging with what they said.
No pornography, sexually explicit material, or obscene content.
No trolling or flame-bait.
Brand wars, “company X is trash” pile-ons, and arguments that exist only to provoke don’t belong here. Threads may be locked or removed if they stop being productive.
No political campaigning or partisan debate.
If a topic touches policy, keep the conversation clearly tied to growing, genetics, or forum-related matters — and don’t let it turn into a political argument. This applies everywhere on the forum.
One account per person, unless staff have approved an exception.
Spam and Low-Effort Posts
Please don’t:
- Post the same topic multiple times
- Reply with “just Google it” energy instead of being helpful
- Farm post count, reactions, or reputation
- Drop one-liners that add nothing to the thread
- Post AI-generated content and pass it off as your own work
- Use shortened links (bit.ly, tinyurl, etc.) without staff approval
- Post in the wrong category — check where your topic fits before starting a thread
Advertising, Promotion, and Solicitation
No unsolicited advertising for outside products, services, or projects, including:
- Referral, affiliate, or paid links outside approved areas or without authorization
- Self-promotion of personal channels, stores, or social accounts outside appropriate spaces
- Promoting items you’re selling on third-party marketplaces
Affiliate partners should only share approved links and materials in line with program rules.
No begging for free seeds, discounts, donations, fundraising, or similar requests.
Illegal Activity and Restricted Topics
Do not share copyrighted material or links to unauthorized hosting of protected content.
General discussion of legal and industry topics is fine when it stays factual and within the law. You are responsible for following the laws that apply where you live.
Cannabis laws vary by location. Do not use this forum to coordinate illegal activity. Souvenir seed discussion, cultivation where legal, and genetics talk are welcome when kept responsible and within applicable law.
Privacy
- Do not post someone else’s personal information (name, email, address, phone number, etc.) without their clear consent.
- Do not post identifying information about anyone, even if you believe you have permission.
Staff cannot see private messages unless they are reported, except in rare cases where safety or legal obligations require it.
Signatures
Keep signatures text only.
No images, embedded media, or external links in signatures unless staff approve an exception.
Moderation
- Do not publicly debate moderation decisions. If you have a concern, contact staff privately.
- Do not backseat moderate. Use the report function instead of calling out “spam,” “off topic,” or similar in-thread.
- Do not revive locked or removed discussions by reposting them elsewhere.
- If you have a serious issue with a moderator, contact an administrator privately.
